Do you take my insurance?
We are in network with Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, AvMed, First Health and Oscar. If your plan is not on that list, you can self-pay at $150 per session and we provide a superbill you can send to your insurer.
What will I actually pay?
Many clients with insurance pay between $0 and $25 per session. Depending on your plan, you may owe a copay, coinsurance or a deductible, so your exact cost can differ. Self-pay is $150, flat.
Why does the booking page show $150?
$150 is our self-pay rate. If you use insurance, you pay your plan's copay, not $150.
Does using insurance affect my privacy?
To bill insurance, we share a diagnosis code with your insurer. If you would rather keep therapy off your insurance record, self-pay is available at $150 per session.
How do I choose a therapist?
Read the short profiles and pick the person who feels right. If you want help deciding, request a call back and we will talk it through with you.
What happens in the first session?
Your therapist asks what brought you in and what you want to change, then you agree on a plan together. You never have to share more than you are ready to.
Is online therapy private?
Sessions run on a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, and what you share is confidential, except where the law requires otherwise.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes. Please give at least 24 hours' notice. Appointments missed without notice are charged the full cost of the session.
Does online therapy actually work?
Many people find online sessions work well and fit more easily into a busy week. Your therapist will check in with you about how it is going and adjust the plan together.
